Enchanted totally!

When one travels on the Indian roads clearly instead of the pollution and extensive population there is one major thing all of us ignore and that is the stranded, the uninsured little poor kids begging for money. What is our reaction when we look at their uncleaned face and shabby clothes? " what kind of a kid is this or no get lost we dont' have money! ) WOW!! seems so appropriate isn't it? Well this is being a cold hearted and unethical person who cannot empathize with such people basically, you are INHUMAN. Being a socially concerned person I decided to dedicate my free time to the poor and unprivileged and thus have joined Rotaract Club Chandigarh. This a non profit organisation who helps these poor people and also organises events so as to earn enough funds to help the children with heart problems. In nut shell, This club is socially active and is keen towards community service.

When it comes to christmas, well all the children are ebullient about the gift Santa would keep under the christmas tree at night. Seems impressive and amazing isnt it? But no body ahs ever thought about these poor people who cannot afford a merry Christmas meal or say gift for me. It does not feel right that only the well off people can afford and celebrate christmas. Thus, we rotraies of chandigarh went to NAYA GAON which is located near hospital P.G.I. I was first shocked to look at their living condition as their sanitary facilities were not prevalent which clearly destroys everything as a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. 

We started to interact with the people and I was flabbergasted to see their level of confidence I then realized that these people require only love, support and they would become one the most successful people alive. It was enchanting to spend time with the little children, their smile made us feel as if we are complete. We extraordinarily spent time and celebrated Christmas with these children and all of them seemed so satisfied that was the best feeling ever as everybody goes and donates funds but when one actually does personally for these people like we did that s the grestest achivemnt a social server can get.

I have been attached with rotatct since quite a long time and now I am realsing as to why these community service makes me happy it is because when one serves for the community, one understands their prejudices and thus can related to their problems, understands them generate empathy towards them and that is is the major achievement which a coummunity sever can get.
